Foot Fetishism

Foot fetishism is one of the myriad of fetishes one may indulge in. In brief, foot fetishism may be defined as a sexual interest and arousal by the human feet. This interest possibly includes since viewing the object of fetish, or even caressing, licking, kissing or sniffing someone else's feet. Researches which include scans of parts of the brain that respond to sexual arousal, proved that responses of a fetishist while viewing a beautiful foot is exactly the same as viewing the genitals of a sex partner or other sex-related body parts like the breasts. For a reason, foot fetishism seemingly wide spread among men, accounting over 70% of the foot fetishists.

Further, several hypotheses try to explain foot fetishism, none completely confirmed by science yet. A famous neurologist once reported that the feet and genitals occupy adjacent areas on the sensory cortex of our brain, what could explain foot fetishism. Another important theory is that the feet shape would be imprinted in our brain during childhood while crawling around our mother's feet, or later, during initial sexual experiences, the sight of a woman's foot while keeping her legs up would be also imprinted in our behavioral system, resulting in foot fetishism.

It is important to say that although no correct explanations for foot fetishism have yet been found it is not wrong or disease. It is just a common attraction that some people have for an unusual part of the body. No one would be forced to please a partner who likes foot fetishism, but his fantasy should be accepted and respected.
